Cellvalidating not firing

Column Index, Checked) End If End Sub End Class I came up with a slightly different solution.Hi Martin Actually I think the grid has still the same behaviour.

Do not hesitate to contact me again if you have any additional questions.

I have a form with a grid view which I have bound to a dataset (MS SQL database). Is there no way to simply fire the same event that is fired when the user clicks on the "Click here to add new row" button that comes standard with the rad gridview? The Default Values Needed event is appropriate to fill the default values for the new row and these default values will be stored in the new row.

The table that I am binding to has a couple fields that have default values when adding new records. This event is purposed to handle exactly this case.

private void data Grid View1_Cell Click(object sender, Data Grid View Cell Event Args e) { if (data Grid View1.

private void data Grid View1_Cell Value Changed(object sender, Data Grid View Cell Event Args e) { if ((bool)data Grid View1.

Current Cell == null) return; if ((bool)data Grid View1. To String()); } private void data Grid View1_Cell Value Changed(object sender, Data Grid View Cell Event Args e) { if (data Grid View1. To String()); } private void data Grid View1_Current Cell Dirty State Changed(object sender, Event Args e) { if (data Grid View1. Commit); } } MSDN says here that Cell Value Changed won't fire until the cell has lost focus. Cell Content Click Class My Grid Inherits Windows. Data Grid View Private Sub My Grid_Current Cell Dirty State Changed(By Val sender As Object, By Val e As System. Column Index) Is Data Grid View Check Box Column Then Me. Commit) 'imediate commit, not only on focus changed End If End If End Sub Private Sub My Grid_Cell Value Changed(By Val sender As Object, By Val e As System. Row Index = 0 Then Dim Checked As Boolean = False If Type Of Me. Column Index) Is Data Grid View Check Box Column Then 'avoid erros Checked = Me.
