CLC is divided into two sections: Eighth Grade Service Learning Club and 9-12th CLC.

The eighth grade Christian Service Learning Club's mission is to acquaint members with a multitude of service learning opportunities through their school, church, and community.

Members will actively participate in choosing projects, contacting service partners, planning activities, and evaluating each event.

Hours spent in service may be credited toward requirements for each student's apostolic hour commitment at Mount Carmel Academy provided the service is an approved apostolic hour activity.

Meetings are the first and third Wednesdays of the month after school.

Key Club is a unique service organization for high school students, today numbering close to 200,000 members worldwide.

Service to the community is an integral part of a Mount Carmel education.

Every extra-curricular activity, whether it's a service club or athletic team, is expected to give of their time to the community.

For example, Mount Carmel Academy’s 2013-14 District Champion soccer team raised funds to help fight against Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and, more specifically, to benefit "Team Gleason" and "Jay's Defensive Line." Student athletes asked for pledges/donations for every goal they scored during the season. Christian Life Community (CLC) provides an avenue of altruistic expression for its members in order that they may learn more about the Christian message of living life in the spirit of loving service to others.

During the year members support senior citizens' homes, area hospitals, children's homes for the abused and day care centers.

They spread joy, happiness and goodwill to those less fortunate than themselves.

CLC's main projects are the Thanksgiving Food Drive, Christmas Gift Drive, and the Mission Drive which is its largest project.

To benefit the missions, members sponsor a Talent Show in addition to sponsoring raffles, breakfast sales, and varied fund-raising activities.

In the Christmas Gift Drive, adopted families are outfitted with clothes and are given toys.
